Family and Social Services

The Centre of Social and Health Services is in the service of the residents of Seinäjoki. The main goal is to support the independent and equal social life of residents and families in different stages and situations of life. Social works aims at providing customer-oriented services in various forms. Child protection, legal aid in some family situations, services for ageing persons and for the disabled, and adult social work are some forms of social work. In addition to services and supportive measures, social work professionals offer face-to-face guidance and advice to resolve social problems of clients and to strengthen his/her control of life. Services are free of charge for the persons with permanent residence in Seinäjoki.
